I am a retired teacher in a Norwegian state school. In my private life I am an addicted collector of plants, and my favourites are Rhododendron species. I hold one of Norway’s biggest private collections of the genus.
I have written many articles in Scandinavian Rhododendron magazines. I have also published four articles in the ARS Journal and the yearbook for the Rhododendron, Magnolia and Camellia Group of the Royal Horticultural Society in England and Rhododendron Species Foundation i USA. In 2008 I published the first book in Norwegian on the Great Plant Hunters, and in 2011 I released a book on Rhododendron species culture in Norway. I have also edited a book for the Norwegian Rhododendron Society presenting 29 Norwegian Rhododendron collections. My newest book is a bout experiences with big leaved rhododendron species in Norway.
I am often invited to speak about plants and gardening for various organisations, in Norway and abroad.
I produce and sell a great variety of species Rhododendrons each year, and I can ship plants to European customers. My plant list is in Norwegian, but it contains scientific species names. More information will be available on request.
